Fr. George Kavukatt is like a loving Grandfather to me. My family and I are so much indebted to Father Geoerge as he officiated and blessed the marriage of my parents. When I was born he christened me and gave me the sacrament of baptism. Father named me Tissa Alphonsa, which puts on me a blessed obligation to grow up like St.Theresa and St. Alphonsa. His special charism for childeren is obvious from the many visits he paid us even amidst his very busy schedule.
My Father, Augustine Joseph was brought up under Fathers guidance from very young age and associated with his social welfare activities and mission activities. I thank God and father George for the morals and values imparted to my father through achan’s guidance.
Father George has helped many children such as Stephan, Saji, Janu, Prabhu and Pradeep and served as their foster father. I am happy that they all have visited us and spent their holidays at my home. I am grateful to Achan for providing me with these many loving siblings. Thus God Almighty blessed me too to be a small missionary to contribute to Achans great work.
