An expression of an inexplicable gratitude to Rev Fr George Kavukatt MST on the occasion of his 75th Birthday Celebration from a devoted brother who is now a Poor Servant of Divine Providence (PSDP) congregation.

It was way back in 1997 at Nirmal Nagar, Asangaon that the Good Lord provided me the Guardianship of our Venerable Jubilarian Rev Fr George Kavukatt MST.

I was edified to see him truly living out the Josephine cum Isidorean Spirituality.

Late Rev Sr Scholasticamma, Rev Srs Clettamma and Elsamma of the Sacred Heart Sisters of Kanjirappally Province accompanied him with their sisterly care.

Among many others I specially remember two young men Thomas and Joe, a certain Joseph chettan and family and a Boova and his family who were his close associates and beneficiaries.

He had his time equally available for the lepers under the care of the Sisters of Helpers of Mary congregation as well as for the retreatants at Tabor Retreat Centre, Kalyan.

He began the day with prayer and Holy Mass. He gave Jesus’ love and tender care unconditionally to anyone who approached him in their dire need.

May the Good Lord bless and keep our beloved Fr George Kavukatt to celebrate his Birth Centenary and beyond , enjoying good health of soul,mind and body till his last breath!

May his very presence be a blessing to the people and place wherever God places him from time to time!!

In due course may the Lord receive him into the company of the heavenly hosts as a worthy pioneer of our MST congregation !!
